Class Styles

At Just Be Yoga we offer a wide variety of class styles, levels, and skilled teachers to meet you and your unique yoga practice. See our class schedule to explore when and where to find the class of your choice. For those new to Just Be Yoga, begin your journey here.

+ Vinyasa Flow - All Levels

Dynamic flow-based yoga. Recommended for those having a familiarity with Sun Salutations A and B. Power Vinyasa flow is a rigorous, sweaty yoga practice stemming from the ashtanga tradition. Poses are held for shorter periods of time and will link one breath with motion, creating a dynamic and fluid ‘meditation in motion.’ This is a hot, sweaty fun practice often set to fun, fluid, dynamic music. You will leave inspired and ready to shine off the mat! Room heated to 85-88 degree.

+ Vinyasa Flow - Basics

Moves more slowly than All Levels. A good place to start your Vinyasa practice. Vinyasa Flow Yoga; connecting powerful breath with dynamic, flowing movements. Physical poses are held for shorter periods of time and connected through Sun Salutations and breath, creating the “flow” aspect of this practice. Often referred to as meditation in motion, vinyasa yoga cultivates: strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, focus, and tranquility. Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body. Room heated to 85-88 degrees.

+ Gentle Flow

Gentle Flow is offered in a non-heated room. This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slow pace of this class allows you to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lengthening with a heavy dose of relaxation to wrap up your practice and leave you feeling great. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students. Non-heated class.

+ Deep Yoga

This dynamic class is designed to connect you to your physical body and your spiritual ethereal body. Come prepared to witness your experience in this class, because each class is different, we are guided to drop our expectations of yoga and of ourselves. These classes are a unique exploration of how yoga impacts our physical and mental forms both on and off of the yoga mat. You will leave feeling connected, strong, and inspired. Classes are done in a heated or non-heated environment depending on the teacher. Great for all levels.

+ Yin

In our non-heated Yin classes you will experience postures done on the floor or against the wall with supportive blocks, blankets,and bolsters. Poses are held for a longer period of time allowing you to stretch connective tissue. You may experience guided meditation woven into the class. Expect to leave feeling balanced, connected, and whole. Great for all levels.

+ Movement & Meditation

Awaken to your seat. This class will take you on a journey to raise your vibration and discover your bliss. Offering a beautiful balance of doing and just being. You will journey through movement - sometimes self-led, sometimes guided - ending with a meditation that will leave you feeling balanced, connected, whole and awake.

+ Kundalini Yoga/Flow

Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. Kundalini Yoga combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. Kriyas are used in combination with breath work to strip away the layers that veil our consciousness, and in the sweet moments between poses we can sense the fullness of who we are. The class is offered in a non-heated room.

Kundalini Flow blends Vinyasa with the practice of Kundalini Yoga. Each class will consist of a light Vinyasa Flow, a Kriya, Meditation and chanting followed by a deep Savasana.

+ Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a powerful practice of guided relaxation that offers great healing potential for the body, mind and spirit. First, prepare the physical body through pranayama (conscious breathing exercises) and a few yin postures to ground and create inner awareness. Once the body is ready for rest, experience a 40-minute meditation while lying in savasana. Explore this opportunity to exist between wake and slumber — where all things are possible. Bring any props (blanket, eye pillow, bolster, etc.) that create a comfortable and safe space for you to practice with ease and go deep within. Great for all levels.

+ Follow the yogi fridays

This class is a twist on the yogic tradition where students come to practice with a teacher at sunrise. Teachers and students move through traditional sun salutations together and then create a dynamic flow-based class to ambient morning beats to greet the day free and clear. This experience is a great way to connect to the community and your fellow yogi’s. Breathing and moving together reminds us that we are more the same than we are different and through this connection we light up the day! Every class is different yet accessible for all those willing to listen to their body.

+ Yoga & Theta Healing

This class will take you on a journey to connect you deeper with your intuition - your inner knowing. We will explore various tools that reawaken our ability to connect to a source greater than the small self. Come prepared to drop out of the logical mind and into the masterful heart. This class weaves together asana (postures), paranyama (breath), guide meditation through ThetaHealing, and discussion within a Sacred Circle. Room is heated to 85-88 degrees.
